With heavy rhythms and passionate vocals, Echo A Mano is making it happen. Formed in 2005, Echo A Mano, meaning hand made is exactly what you would envision it to be; an eccentric collection of industry defining music. This set of young talents have fused their classic Cuban, Carribbean and African roots with contemporary urban sounds. The four piece revolutionary band is diverse and coincidently, also traditional. The result is the unified fusion of sound including hip hop, reggae, jazz and son elements with an underlying conventional Latin rhythm. The distinct music the band creates reaches out to individuals from all genres, making them irresistible and electrifying. For an emerging band these musicians have no problem with building reputations for themselves. All members have years of experience in their specialties. Roberto Brown a.k.a Mr. Brown is the composer of the group. He also brings his vocal and pianist talents to the pack. Mr. Brown is a well-known Cuban composer who has toured all over the world along side of Adalberto Alvarez y su son, one of Cubas leading bands. Ernesto Brooks a.k.a Netto adds the hip hop feel to the collection, specializing in Spanish rap. He illuminates the stage with his evident charisma and raw sound. Previously a member of several other hip hop groups Netto knows what the crowd wants and brings it to them every chance he gets. Michael Fleitas Landin a.k.a Mike Chop is the groups Hype man/DJ, who never fails to get the crowd moving and grinding. His past experience as a radio host and owner gives him the qualifications of any great artist in the music industry. Last but not least, we have Yeti Ajasin a.k.a Lady Son, bringing her rich and passionate vocals along with her conga beat completing this one-of-a-kind band. Lady Son is a chart topper in Toronto, also doing her own thing with her well renowned band Articulo Veinte. Its no wonder why their fans can't get enough of their raw voices and rich harmonies. This innovative group is what the music industry has been lacking. Echo A Mano is carving their own genre.
