I've been on MySpace a few months and I been called a woman collector. Thats far from the truth. I request woman as "friends" for a few reasons. The first would be obviuos, I'm a man and I find woman to be attractive and irresistable. I would like to understand them better because men and woman communicate in different ways. The more woman I expose myself to, (no pun intended) the more of an understanding I may end up with. I also want to eventually persue a relationship with someone of the opposite sex and this is a possible place to find the "one". If I request you as a friend, I have read your profile , looked at your pictures and feel that there is something that intersted me to persue you as a potential friend. I also do the same for those who request me as a friend. I don't approve all friends requests as you have to fit in to my interests in someway (Sorry). I you approve me as a friend or I accept you as a friend, I usually will start the communication in the form of a comment on your webpage. If you wish to reply that would be up to you. I have many friends that I regularly communicate with so if you don't hear from me right away, it's because I'm probably busy. Periodically I may purge those friends that don't wish to participate in any way as my friend.I wrote the following to send to one of my friends and I liked it, so I included it in my profile. *I'm on MySpace to make "real" friends and to have fun doing it. I've sat on the sidelines most of my life and I'm not sitting there anymore. I'm grabbing the bull by the horns so to speak and I'm going to have fun doing it. I try to do things tastefully as to not offend anyone. Although, as hard as I may try I'm sure that I may still offend someone. I like to get feedback from my friends because I think that is what MySpace is all about, (Friends participation).*I'm recently divorced and ready to make some new friends. I am so happy to be where I am at today. I have two young sons that I have shared custody of and I love them very much. It has been challenging trying to fill the shoes of two parents but I know, as a man, there are some voids that I will never be able to fill. I've done a lot of soul searching and I have figured out that I and only I am responsible for my happiness. I've spent many days processing events in my life to try to change the way I think about things. I like the person that I've become. Not that I was a bad person to begin with, I just try to evolve into a positive direction every day of my life.
