Movies:
I honestly don't know if I could be tortured any further with such questions...you've read my taste in music, try if you will to translate that into movies kiddies! HeeHee...I love movies quite a lot...not really into the grand, formulated, Hollywood blockbuster type films so much, but I have been known to like some...I do enjoy films of all eras, and most genres. Indies, foreign, documentaries, old silents, shorts...(like the Stooges, "why I oughta"), cult films, and even a "good" bad film. RUN LOLA RUN is my favorite movie ever!I like creative films that really puzzle the mind. Horror films are awesome. I'm a big fan of classic horror films...Bride of Frankenstein, FREAKSDracula, Carnival of Souls, The Invisible Man. GOODFELLAS is one of my all time favorites.Love a good comedy, FLIRTING WITH DISASTER is masterfully funny!Lets see, what else comes to mind...Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, BADLANDSMemento, Boys Don't Cry, Clerks, NATURAL BORN KILLERSA CLOCKWORK ORANGEHalloween, Heavenly Creatures, Pulp Fiction, Citizen Ruth,Election, Lolita(original Stanley Kubrick version)...NOOOOOO, no more torturing, please!
Television:
Television rots the brain.
I only permit mine to rot a little bit at a time...
Books:
I love Vladimir Nabokov...Lolita is my favorite book of all time, Herman Hesse is another favorite writer of mine...I love his old fairy tales, Grimm's fairy tales, Anthony Burgess, Franz Kafka, Edgar Allen Poe, I also like horror, non-fiction...Sugar Blues is possibly the most enlightening book I've ever read, poetry, quick reads because my attention span is not the greatest...lol, but seriously, if it's written provocatively than it doesn't matter. The last book I read was The Universe and Dr. Einstein. Children's literature is charming. Whatever deals with my interests or piques my curiosity, and is written well, obviously. Yeah, books are cool.
