I'm getting into a lot of different kinds of music. I like to experiment with different sounds and instruments. I can read music, but its hard for me to play and read at the same time. Music is my engine in life. Without it, I don't know what I would do. The reason, I created this music, is to express myself through the emotion of sounds. For me, Digital music uses the same notion as a paint brush. You can add so many different types of textures to it. Also, if you don't like it, you can just delete it. I love using loops, but also I like to add my own solos, bass, strings, and drum arrangements. I have used Garageband and Reason to create my music!
Its so cool on how you can create a song without knowing how to play an instrument. Its even better if you know how to play an instrument. For me, I play the guitar and I use to take piano lessions, so I know a thing or two about melodies and chord progressions. I'm not really great at playing the piano or a keyboard, but for me to learn how to solo, and make a solo sound great, I need to know the classical and jazz scales on the piano.
When I'm making music! I tend to mess around with sounds, loops, different kinds of instrument sounds and effects! Most of the time when I'm coming up with a song, I tend to build base upon emotion. What I mean is on how I'm feeling in my current state of mind. I come up with several backbeats, drum beats, or bass lines, then I work from there. I tend to us orchestraded strings a lot! I love classical music, but its not my main influence! I just like to us them! I believe strings add a texture of emotion to a song or track!
The DJs, bands, and groups that I'm into are mostly the bands that influence my musical input! The artist that I have on my Myspace profile, influence me to venture further into the genra of Electronica, Ambient, Progressive, Down-Tempo, Trip Hop, and other parts of Electronic and processed music! I'm greatful to have them as friends. Music, I believe is unending never stopping or slowing down. My music is dedicated to what has become or what will become of the future for music! I praise those artist that ventured through their self concious, as well as self concept, toward the expantion of growing.
Music is everything, and if you don't have that concept, what's the point of living. Music is the motion of emotions. Music Moves you, makes you, and breaks you. Music makes you dance, and it makes you take a change. Music is motivation, as well as relaxation. Keep rockin' and rock the fu*k on
