Tim and Robyn Wing, We are a Christian family owned business..
I don’t usually talk about myself, but here goes….
I was born to parents who were attending the Elahim Bible Institute studying to be missionaries.
We went to Arizona to the mission field but after a year my parents decided to not pursue this path and moved back to Connecticut to live.
All my young life we attended a local church and when I was 13 I felt called to give myself to the service of the lord.
I was baptized and filled with a great love for God. I attended youth group and was very involved with all church activities. I met my first wife at the youth group and we were married when I was 19. We had our first child when I was 20 and shortly thereafter I joined the
United States Air Force to serve my country.
Unfortunately, we drifted away from the church and followed the wider path of the world. We had another child, but still our lives didn’t include God and our marriage started to fail. After 7 years of marriage we were divorced and even though I sought God in those times of trouble I never really returned to him.
I next went through a series of trials that got worse each time I tried and I then realized that God was trying to speak to me.
He was trying to say something to me about the service that I had promised him. What was I to do.
One night I prayed to him in earnest and asked him for a Godly woman who would help me and again I promised my service to him if he would only intervene on my behalf.
He answered my prayer with a woman who is very Godly and who lifts me up beyond my own will toward Gods will. I never thought that I was a selfish man, but I learned and am still learning that I tend to put myself first. I’m learning to change that and listen to God and what he wants and it’s so simple.
You simply pray and listen to your Holy Spirit when he speaks.
God is so loud and clear that at times it can be overwhelming. Add to that, the enemy and his whisperings in your head it makes for a world class struggle at times. When that happens, I take a breath and close off the things around me and listen to the holy spirit who answers every question. Sometimes not the way I wanted, but an answer all the same.
I thank the Lord for Robyn, my wife, my best friend and my sister in the lord. May we always keep each other strong and bind satan from us so that we can focus on God and what he wants from us. To show others that Jesus Christ lives in us!
