About Me

Born into a musical family, Jesse Simpson began playing the drums at the age of 9. Emerging on the San Francisco jazz scene at 14, he studied with Donald "Duck" Bailey. He has been fortunate enough to play and hang with a lot of really great cats. He is currently at the Manhattan School of Music studying privately with John Riley and hitting up the New York scene.
