I am here for Friends

About Me

.. Layout Created at Mspremade.comI was born in Canada, went to 19 schools in 5 different countries. Settled in England and have lived in Cambridge London and now Manchester.Am married, not shackled Have 2 grown girls and one about to hit the teenage also one stepson.I have never been bored. Feel life is too short to do everything I'd like so have done lots of things instead of settling for a few.Would rather have lots of small tastes of life instead of one good meal- like tapas and sushi.I feel strongly about lots of issues, love debate.I like talking to strangers.I'm not sporty.I am considered funny and can be cleverly witty, occasionally am hysterically giggly.I talk with my hands.I am brave and have confronted and challenged many people and issues that needed it.I fight for the things I believe in.I work as a nurse with people who have drug problems.I'm also a union rep for my colleagues. I enjoy the opportunity it gives me to help protect peoples rights at work. I've worked as a mental health advocate, that was my favourite work, defending and fighting for the rights of people who have had all their rights stripped away from them.I'm a socialist but there is no party that I want to belong to.I admire Cuba, especially their attitude to healthcare. I feel passionately that healthcare should be free for all and hate this and previous governments for the destruction of the Health Service.I fantasise that when I'm old I will finish my days in India which is my favourite place, nursing the dying and leading a simple life with few possessions.
