About Me

There's really not that much to tell. What little part of my life that I've lived has been in a small town in extremely Southern Illinois. So you could call me sheltered. You could call me a hick. You could call me Mickey Rooney if it made you feel better. But please, don't. It's not my name. But, hey, whatever floats el boat.

My Interests

Music and movies, those are two good ones. Also, I'm real into gaming. Of the video variety. Though I love a good romp in the outdoors now and then.

Music:

Music I like? Here's a list, it might not be all-inclusive. Dean Martin; Frank Sinatra; Sammy Davis Jr.; The Temptations; Smokey Robinson and The Miracles; almost every other Motown song ever made; James Brown (The Godfather of Soul) deep '70's funk; The Beatles (not so much as Motown); Pink Floyd; George Thorogood & The Destroyers; Foo Fighters (kick-ass); Incubus; Big Band instrumental swing; Jet; Franz Ferdinand; A little U2; Muse; orchestral music (Like the Band Of Brothers soundtrack); Rare Grooves (Think Master Sounds minus the midget MC); a very SMALL bit of emo; Techno. That about covers it.

Movies:

Sin City, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and War Of The Worlds. The best three movies ever made. And I will fight you over it.

Books:

Catch-22, by Joseph Heller; Any Douglas Adams book; Any novel by Tom Clancy; Sphere, by Michael Crichton; All the Space Odysseys by Arthur C. Clarke; Not to mention a little ditty I'm cooking up myself.

My Blog

Running Wide Open With Scissors

Do I like to live dangerously? No. But, there's a certain amount of excitement I need. Adultery in the high-school sense usually does the trick. And speaking of adultery, last night, the day BEFORE Ap...
