Kingston a.k.a. King- To those of you that have never heard the name, you've now been enlightened. I'm 19 years old... Not your average Chinese boy; you won't clock too many like me about, believe. London raised, living in Manchester, studying at Nottingham University... Have been a fan of urban music since I was about 10, but picked up the mic mid 2005, been writing bars since. Started off as a bit of a joke really, i sprayed clash bars that essentially were just punchlines lined up one after the other, most of which were pretty shit to be honest... but the feedback I was gettin from people around me was positive, so I carried on and as my skills progressed I began writing about things that hold actual importance to me, so my content became deeper and just... real... in a short period of time. At the same time I experimented with different flows, and have started to mix them up in the search of my own unique style; what is 100% me.... but I don't however, feel I've fully found myself as an MC as of yet. At the beginning of a steep learning curve still, but no doubt making moves... A few years back, I would never have even dreamed I would one day develop the ability to express myself through music in such a way. Goes to show nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it really... it doesn't matter how good or shit you are when you first start doing something new, that's the whole process of learning. You can only improve with time... Still, speaking of time, I'm only in this game on a part time tip, got other plans in life, music is just a past time. Due to the fact that I can only dedicate a portion of my time to it, I've hence got NO TIME for clowns with nothing real to chat about. Too many wasters are making negative music promoting the things that make this world an ugly place to live in, glorifying violence, evil and corruption. Fools. Not only is that kinda bullshit destructive, it's played out and just plain boring. Furthermore, it's just giving grime a bad name. "95% of that channel U shit are crews of pricks gettin abusive".
