Charlie is a 20 year old producer from North West London. His production career started at 14 where he first created soulful Hip Hop beats. His sampling skills moved on leaps and bounds over the pursuing years working with very talented young artists in America, Scotland, England, Australia, and other places in Europe. With a dynamic and original approach to music, Charlie began his conquest into the House and Electronic movement. He intertwined indie sounds, dance synths, big basslines and booming drums. Recently, Charlie has been trying to bridge the gap between these very different styles in the hope to create soulful, electronic, fast-tempo Hip Hop.With an open mind to music he draws influence from everywhere not adverse to remixing Staind one day and Bob Marley the next.Main influences come from Jacques Lu Cont/Thin White Duke whom he has been following for a while now. Their similarities in style has given Charlie a real creative boost and confidence. Also drawing influences from the likes of Brother Ali, UNKLE, John Mayer, Kanye West, Mark Ronson, Timbaland, Pharrell, Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco and Ant. He proclaims that their "awe-inspiring talent and consistency" has lead him to continue his musical hobby.Currently he is working on an LP which will combine many different aspects of his musical personality. The album is not expected to reach general release but to be used more as a demo project for feedback purposes.
