About Me

I'm never entirely sure of what I should write in these "About Me" sections. For some reason or other, I seem to have some difficulty in describing myself. I'll probably think of something more at a later time; for now, I'll just keep it short. I'm 23 years old. I still live at home. I'm a student and I'm a writer....umm...I think that I'll leave it at that for the moment.

My Interests

screenwriting, filmmaking, writing in general, music, playing guitar (not well, but still...), reading, languages, psychology, the supernatural and paranormal phenomena, Unitarian Universalism, religion/theology, humanity and its nature, and a couple other things that I can't think of right now.

I'd like to meet:

I don't know. In fact, I don't even know how I got here; I just woke up one morning and found that I have a Myspace profile (joke - admittedly not a particularly good one). Now that I am here, I should make the most of it, shouldn't I? I would like to meet: old friends, new friends...anyone really. *shrugs*

Music:

(in no particular order): Dave Matthews Band, Metallica, Collective Soul, Matthew Silverman, Sarah McLachlan, Suzanne Vega, Pearl Jam, Billy Joel, Santana, Chi-Skilz, Live, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Doors......basically, I listen to a lot of different things (I'll probably add on to this at a later time too).

Movies:

(again, in no particular order): The Usual Suspects, Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, Psycho, Vertigo, Mystery Science Theater 3000: the movie, Batman (1989?), most of the James Bond movies, Videodrome, The Third Man, The Matrix, Road to Perdition, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Evil Dead, Superman, Japanese horror/suspense films (always fun), Scary Movie, Jaws, Saving Private Ryan......again, there are more that I could put here; I just can't think of them right now.

Television:

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (no surprise there), Good Eats, Iron Chef, Iron Chef America (I watch Food network a lot, can you tell?), Law & Order, Star Trek:TNG, Forensic Files, The First 48, Mythbusters, Cold Case Files, The Investigators, American Justice (sometimes), the History Channel, The A-Team, Cartoon Network (rarely)
