My name is Twix. I am a Mini Dachshund and I must say I am the big cheese! Some say I look like a hot dog. I find humor in that. Pass the Mustard! Ruff! Ruff! I have some pretty awesome parents and live with a crazy kid that chases me around all day, but I love him. I like to chew on bones, run around the yard, bark at the mailman, steal Mom and Dad's socks and hide them under the bed ( I love it when they go to get socks and can't find a pair to put on ). I also enjoy jumping in the dishwasher while mom is loading dishes to lick all that good stuff off the plates, and my favorite thing to do is go on short walks. I can only make it around the corner, if my parents go any farther they wind up carrying me home. They must forget I have short legs! Ruff!Ruff! My Mom found me on the internet two days after her Howie died. She fell in love with me. The only problem was I lived in West Virginia and my parents were from Michigan. Mom convinced Dad to pack up and go on a road trip to get me. I heard everyone tried talking Mom out of it, but she had her mind set! I was the one! When I came home my bark had a bit of an accent but they didn't mind at all. They talk funny too. So here I am!
