I'm very much into fitness. I enjoy Pilates to keep me long and lean,kickboxing to keep me on my toes,dance is very important to me cause of my heritage.....LATINA 95%....LOL!!!! I took ballet,tap dance and flamenco. But,I also dance lots of latin and hip hop. Still dance freestyle (ole'skool). Weightlifting to keep me strong. My favorite sport is Baseball but I do enjoy all other sports. To keep fit I inline skate,swim,ride bike. Wait a minute.... And don't forget DANCE!!!!! Anything that gets my heart rate up!

MySpace IconsAs you all already know...Singing and music are my passion. I'm a Alto/Soprano with a 5 octave range. I can sing any genre of music. My favorites though are R&B and then Classic Rock. I read and write music...I have several original songs. I know a lot about music...Through experience and thanks to all the years of music classes. At first I took up Guitar,(my favorite instrument) but found it very difficult to place my fingers. So then,I took up Violin,which would seem harder but wasn't. Having the opportunity to learn music in such detail as a orchestra Violinist,is what really taught me how to read music. I can play keyboard,but only when I'm trying to play music by ear. Also if I'm writing a song and finding a melody. Because of this I was exposed to all this knowledge of music all through most of my schooling years.I was propelled onto the direction towards the love of music and to expressing myself,through music. Singing...well that's another story. I was very young when I learned that I could actually sing. Even before I could read music,I could figure out a particular song I liked. I would sit at my lil' keyboard and figure out each note by ear. Until finally,I had the complete song. Mind you I was about,6 years old. Then I would play the along while I'd sing. My Mom would watch me sometimes and she would be astounded at what I could accomplish at such a young age. She influenced me in my choice of the style of my music. Thanks Mommy for always playing your music and dancing and singing around the house. Cause of you I love the type of music that has influenced so many performers. My favorite singers are...Mariah Carey,Christina Aguilera,Alicia Keys,Marvin Gaye,Peebo Bryson,Patti LaBelle,Prince,BabyFace,Howard Hewitt,The Isley Brothers, Rick James,Donna Summer,Teena Marie,Chaka Khan,Ole Skool 50's and 70's groups...just too many to mention! Dedicated to my mother
I've had many influences when it comes to music and singing. One being,Micahel Jackson(the "Jackson 5" era). He had an awesome voice...Too bad he's a freak now. When I was younger I'd listen to music from the 50's,which had a great influence on my R&B skills. Also Classic Rock bands like,"Heart" and other great rock bands. But the one that sets them all apart,is my greatest influence of all. That is the one and only,Mariah Carey! She is such a skilled singer with an exceptional voice. She inspires me with her music. Her songs bring a message of hope to me...That is what I love most about MC...She is my HERO! When it comes to my music. But,nobody can compare to my REAL HEROES! The heroes of my heart. And those being my Mom(who has also been my Dad),my daughthers'(that includes my grandbabies),and my sweet Man....My heroes.
