About Me

Long story short, I grew up in Southern Illinois, went to college, got published, and in 2005 I moved to Nashville to write for an upstart production company named Amylase Entertainment. In late 2006 I learned that Amylase was restructuring the company. So, I chose to moved back to Illinois to help my Mom on the farm. Yup.

My Interests

I'm working on a documentary featuring bands from St. Louis, Southeast Missouri, and Southern Illinois. A goal of mine is to create my own production company.

I read a lot of non-fiction: philosophy and history. Outside scholarly text, I'm into short stories. Old Fitzgerald and more recently, Larry Brown.
