Myspace makes me feel like I have left the house for a while

About Me

My name is Evelyn Hardy, born in 1956 I intend to use myspace as a way of broadcasting my works to as many as possible. And also to network with similar souls.

My Interests

I regularly enjoy bulk buying t shirts with such witticisms as "Am I bothered?" printed upon them and adding graphic images of infant mortality, adolescent experimentation through incest and dead animals, being buggered. I also enjoy travelling into town with my friend Horace to observe him as he asks people to smell his fragrant hair gel and head butts them. The existential nature of his performing art is truly breath taking.

I'd like to meet:

People open to giving me compliments. Be nice, together we are much stronger.

Music:

My interests centre mainly on the classical artists; Chopin, Handel, Bach, and Beethoven predominantly. I must confess to being quite the closet fan of The Necrophiliac Bon Bons; an acid house pairing that produce sublime infusions of the melodic beauty of the operas with pulsing, rhythmic jazz bass whilst percussion is supplied by the recording of a single mother and her anaemic child being slapped.

Movies:

I enjoy purchasing forgotten family videos to edit in a pulsing sound track and small narrative to give the finished result delicate undertones of racism, necrophilia and incest juxtaposed with the commercial might of tescos.

Television:

Will only dull your soul. In my opinion our eyes are never as firmly closed as when we are observing that infernal box.

Books:

I am my own favourite author although i find myself enthralled and in awe of local graffiti authors, documenting the local history of real people in everyday life. Stacey Jones was fingered at my local bus stop; I intend to never forget that.

Heroes:

We live in a time of fading stars, surplus celebrities and insincere heroes. We are force fed the ideal that Bono is saving our planet yet sales of U2 records are at their most prolific. Men that live 9-5 for starving families, supporting themselves without handouts, rarely getting time for themself and seeing their children's futures as the main focus of their lives, exposed as paedophiles and malicious sex predators, children found under the patio and the neighbourhood reels in shock. Those men, subverting the cultural norms and distorting common identity are the men I admire.

Days of electronica

They told me I was depressed. My life was mostly grey, I suppose. Slight ups and downs but grey is a good way of putting it. You see, it wasn't black and whi...
