JayKids heart and soul is in the urban music scene. This man loves it all...did you know JayKid started off as a House DJ at the age of thirteen; he gained a lot of respect and popularity while doing so. JayKid has been in this business since there was a business. You name a big event that happened and JayKid was there. This man truly wears all hats in the industry, being successful as both a DJ and an MC.
JayKid brings excitement to each event and really knows how to keep things moving.
JayKid has hosted most of the Elite parties around the city and is a real crowd favorite.
JayKid knows how to take over a crowd whether the Mic is in his hand, or the records keep spinning, His energy and passion always pumps up the crowd and keeps the party bumpin. JayKid has played at some of the hottest clubs in the city, here are only some of the venues, Time Square, Palazzo, Republik, The Docks, Atlantis, Club 108, NRG Kingdom and the list goes on and on.... JayKid has also had his own radio shows, one on AM 530 called "Urban Joints" and another show on Energy 108 called "Energy Radio Street Mix. Presently JayKid has a show on Energy 105.1 FM every Tuesday night from midnight to 2 AM called Tranquil Nights. JayKid has worked with many people in the industry, here are a few of the names, D.J Jazzy Jef, D.J Dummy, D.J Double C, Jay.T, Flipside, Kid Kut, Baby Blue Sound Crew, Common, Shawn Desman and Danny Fernandes. There are many more but just too many to list. There are several things that people don't know about JayKid; he is also a singer/song writer. He is working on a project as we speak; look out for it later this year.
