Gianpiero Bertolotti aka Gianpier(GPR) was born in Ragusa (Italy) in 1976. DJ, Producer, he started his career about twelve. In the beginning of the 90s, he work in a popular night clubs in his hometown and was influenced by Deep House and BreakBeat.
In 1995 he produce the first unreleased project with the remix of "Sade - Smooth Operator". In 1996 he performed many dj set in many radio networks of Sicily.
In 1998, Gianpier has performed as a DJ for one summery season in the night club how the "Bar Funk" and "The Places" in Malta. In 1999, goes to Taormina and start the collaborations with more prestigious groups of Sicily how With Love, Atmosphere (AFC), Artinnovative, Zero Nove, and many others.This gave him the possibility to work in popular clubs of Sicily how the Marabu', Taitu', ToutVa, Capannone/The End where he knows many national and international celebrities such as PastaBoys, Sicania Soul, Paolo Martini, Ivan Iacobucci, Ricky Montanari, Kenny Carpenter, Joe Montana, Justin Berkmann, and many more.
In 2001, he produces many free projects how "For Roxanne", "A dream", "All around the world", and many others. In 2003, he start the passion of analog synths and virtual instruments that influenced Electro and Techno sounds. In the ending of 2005, was born the collaboration with Jitzu and together produces the first project "Worm", in minimal techno style. Thanks to the friend Sam Perez, this single was played by famous DJs including Angelino and Giuliano Veronese. Gianpier and Jitzu produces others projects how "Ware", "In Rewire", "Machine Control". In 2006, collaborate together with the italian label "SUNPLAY" and at january 2007 go out "Ware EP" with the pseudonym "DOPPELTE HAND" where is included their common project "Ware 2006". At July 2007 go out "Pendelbewegungen EP" in his label: "GP EAR RECORDINGS". At October 2007 go out in vinyl the CREATURE project(Gianpier/Sam Perez/Benny/Mnlmax/Gilo) on RUSH REC.
