This is what happens when one of the greatest bands in the world plays it's last ever concert. All the way up in a little town called Coventry (population: 1,014) in Northern Vermont. It's so North, Canada is only 30 miles away. There's a diner, but there is no gas station or general store in town. But for a few days in the summer of 2004, somewhere around 80,000 people came from all over the world (yes, including Japan) to see this. And I was one of them. This is 1 of 3 giant Phish festivals I attended. Big Cypress(Florida Everglades) and IT(Limestone,Maine) being the other two. I would give anything to experience another one. Long live el pescado. by the way, my tent was located somewhere up in that top left corner... ..

Napoleon Dynamite, Disco Pigs, any movie by Hal Hartley (Henry Fool, Book of Life), especially if Parker Posey is in it. Any movie by P.T. Anderson (Magnolia, Boogie Nights, Hard Eight), Wes Anderson (Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums), Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Time Bandits, Fisher King, Holy Grail, Baron Muchausen), Jean Pierre Jeunet (Delicatessen, City of Lost Children, Amelie, Very Long Engagement), Coen Bros (Barton Fink, Hudsucker Proxy, Fargo), Tarantino, Coppola, Scorsese, and of course, Richard Linklater (especially Waking Life, Dazed And Confused, Tape). What else? The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover. Trainspotting, Lost in Translation, House of Yes, and a whole bunch more. Oh yeah... I also really like those Star Wars movies, especially Empire Strikes Back. .. width="425" height="350" .. .. width="425" height="350" .. .. width="425" height="350" .. .. width="425" height="350" ..
