I was born and raised in Chattanooga and my roots run deep. I love our mountains, our rivers, and our seasons. I would love to travel more, but this will always be home. I have the best older brother in the world. He is my bestfriend, ally, and confidante. My parents are divorced but we were lucky kids- we had equal support, love, affection, and attention from them both. My mom is one of the strongest, kindest women I have ever known. She gave us alot and gave up alot for us. One of the best gifts she bestowed upon me (besides my bro) is a love for animals that is so passionate it sometimes hurts. Riding horses with her will forever be some of my most special times. As a "Daddy's Girl" some of my fondest memories are crawling in my Daddy's lap when he would come home from the late shift and listening to music. Dad gave me and my bro a truly awesome gift, too. The love of music. I was named after "Aimee" by Pure Prarie League and "Melissa" by the Allman Bros. I have a really great family all around. Small, but close and supportive and am lucky to have really great and caring grandparents, too. The light of my life is my little nephew, Mason. He is the coolest kid in the world and I will kick anyone's ass who argues! (I refer you now to video titled, "Never anger a hippie", hahaha.) A more recent development in my life is a new man! Yep, lil Amy finally got her a man, ha ha. My friends had often told me that perhaps my standards were too high, but once I stopped looking I found a great guy who not only meets, but exceeds my impossibly high standards, and I am truly happy again. I am enjoying every second that we spend together and can't wait to see what we discover next. Thank you, sweet pea, for putting a smile back on my face and keeping it there. Thank you for sharing your music and yourself with me, and most of all, thanks for loving and accepting ALL of me, including my flaws, and general quirkiness, (and 5 cats! ha ha!) As a child I developed a love and talent for art. In highschool I realized a love for writing, as well. My degree is in Interior Design but I currently work in a pharmacy (don't ask!) However, I do paint and love to do wall murals when given the oppurtunity. Music is absolutely one of the most important elements in my life. If I start to lose any senses, I pray it is not my hearing because without music I would go insane. I love nothing more than a good live concert and to dance my ass off! I LOVE TO PARTY!! My friends are so valuable to me and I really do have some of the best friends out there!! So props to them for putting up with me...I am no walk in the park. My personality is a jumble and sometimes seems like 2!! No worries, after all I am a Gemini. Therefore I am outgoing, talkative, hyper, compassionate, caring, kind, passionate, strong-willed and stubborn. I stand up for what I believe in and I am protective and loyal to my family, friends and animals. oh yeah and I guess I am funny, sometimes? My other love in life is our poor, tired Mother Earth. I love to be outside...doing nothing but laying by a waterfall. I feel most spiritual when I am outside somewhere beautiful. That is when I feel my Cherokee blood the most.All of my tattoos are nature/ Native American related.(see my pics, All of my tattoos were done by a good friend, Ben Rooks at SkinPricks, East Brainerd 893-8888) And if anyone actually took the time to read all of this, you obviously had nothing much to do! Well... like I said I do talk alot....
