Being alone, reading good books, finding joy in a life that is wretched. Being free from the constraints that separate people from themselves. Having fun with friends and living my life one second at a time.
The good kind!
I saw The Prestige lately and I can't believe I waited so long to watch that fun-du-tastic film. Honestly cyber monkey's it was great!
Too much T.V. can suck your soul out through your brain with a straw with the little straw hat connected. When I do watch the idiot box I tend to watch Heroes on N.B.C. I'm like George as far as not being able to lie: it is possibly the best show on television I highly suggest that you cyber monkey's watch it.
Fyodor Dostoevsky: The Brothers Karamazov, Blaise Pascal: Pensees, Soren Kierkegaard: Fear and Trembling, Jean Jacques Rosseau: A Discourse on Inequality, C.S. Lewis: The Problem of Pain, Franz Kafka: The Metamorphosis...and numerous others that I don't have space to mention.
Physically: Soren Kierkegaard: He refused to marry a woman that he loved more than anything more in this Earth. His desire was to find God more than anything. (I really admire his sacrifice).Metaphysically: Elijah the Prophet: Dedicated himself to God so much that he prayed to God that it would not rain for three years. His relationship with God was so intense that it didn't rain in the region for three years. (Talk about absolute surrender).
