Thomas The Tank

I'm a cheeky little engine with 6 small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler and a short stumpy dome. My travells get narrated by Ringo Starr.I first appeared in the book 'Thomas the Tank Engine' where I was a station pilot and used to shunt coaches and trucks for the bigger engines. I longed for more important jobs, but my inexperience prevented this. Eventually I was responsible for rescuing James after an accident, and the Fat Controller (who was then known as the Fat Director) decided that I was a Really Useful Engine, and ready for my own branch line. I have remained in charge of this line ever since.My closest friends are Annie and Clarabel, my coaches. However, I am also very good friends with Percy the Small Engine, despite a lot of arguments. I like Edward the Blue Engine who is always helping me and Toby the Tram Engine whom I've became very fond of.
