About Me

This profile was edited with Thomas' Myspace Editor V3.2b
I'm still part of the Boat Club, or USN for the uninitiated. I exist here because I...well...because john Calvin was and forever will be wrong. I was born from the desert, raised in the fires of the desert, escaped from the desert only to deploy to yet several other different deserts. I do not live in the desert, but it is a close haunting memory, like that monster in my closet.
The fires and trials I continually face onl make me stronger.
Now for the meat:
* I do not like my job. Make no mistake about it. I can find some other ways to waste my time, and even get paid for it. Don't tell my wife. * I like richly hued colors. Deep velvets, earth tones and bright-slap-yer-face florecents. I often play music thru W-Media Player just to watch the random swirling of colors
* I do not like plain red. Tramp lipstick red, sunset red, blood red, burgandy, dusty rose are great as long as they ain't plain red, because...
* I sunburn easily. Too many painful memories.
* I am unapoligetic with my humor. I'm not crude, nasty or unintelligent. You either get the joke or you don't.
* I will tell a lame joke to break the ice or gauge the atmosphere. Antihumor is also a great weap...uh, tool. I still don't understnd Andy Kaufman, and Monty Python is boring.
* On the other hand - The 3 Stooges, Old Warner Bros. cartoons and Mel Books are always a great pastime.
* Sarcasm, cynicism, satire and plain old mockery are becoming a lost art among the general PC'd, socialy re-engineered populace. Here lately I've thought about starting a small school teaching children the subtlties of our language.
* I don't defend violence, I advocate it...when necessary.
* I believe that ALL people are created equally, and that we are all born on a level playing field. We are conscious enough to create our own peaks and valleys in life.
* Those of us that have an advantage need to help and protect those that don't.
* I also believe that a person needs to work for something to appreciate it.
* I'm prone to staying late at nite, not caring what I have to do the next day, just to work on things that will not fulfill any purpose in life...like this list.
* I alsoe misspel wurds, even though I can see it in my head correctly.
* I drink coffee like an addict.
* I also avoid Starbucks when possible, and instead support local coffee shops and stands. I apply that same rule to nearly anything in life, where I avoid shopping at coorporate retail vendors and instead go to the local equivelent, except...
* I can't find a reason NOT to enter a Guitar Center, In 'N Out Burgers, Carl's Jr. or Sam Goody. Nope. Not one.
* I Do Not Play Mind Games. Ever. Diplomacy and straightforwardness work wonders. But no games.
* I am even less merciful on those that are condenscending.
* I wish I had my long hair back.
