I love to write. I would love to have something published someday, although I have never submitted anything.
I'd like to meet:
A NORMAL guy. After what I have had the displeasure of going through recently, being treated well would be wonderful. I don't want to meet anyone who is apathetic, unfeeling, selfish or cruel. I am tired of that. WAY WAY tired of that. I refuse to accept it again as long as I live. Any man I date will have to be thoughtful and considerate of other people's feelings. He needs to be honest, have high morals and a sense of humor as well..
Also, anyone who may find himself interested in me had better like big girls. If you want a skinny gal you will have to look elsewhere. I'm a size 18 and I may not get any smaller.
I know it sounds silly but I've been through some insanity lately so I expect any guy I date to smell good for pete's sake!! If you smell like dirty dish cloths please do not apply!!!.
I'm not looking for "a good time", if you know what I mean. I don't need a "friend with benefits" or a one-night stand. There are plenty of women on here who want that so just go look for them if that's what you're into. I have children and I will not allow anything detrimental to their welfare into their lives. If you suck up alcohol like a sponge you might want to go for a party girl. I don't want a criminal, ex-con, anything of the like. I am a law enforcement major and will turn you in at the drop of a hat if you do drugs. I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to crime.
So, that's what I am looking for and not looking for. I've been through too much and I deserve better than what I had.

Television:
CSI, Criminal Minds,Ice Road Truckers and just about anything on the History Channel, Fox News (I'm a cable news junkie.) Discovery has some informative stuff too. Usually all we get to watch around here is Spongebob.
Books:
"Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it."Anything by Dean Koontz.
Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson. Some of Stephen King is good, but he tends to go off into unnecessary places some times like he has been hitting the opium or something. He gets a bit nasty too. I can live without that. (On Writing is the best thing I've read by King.)
English literature from Antiquity through the early 20th Century.
