Get your own countdown at BlingyBlob.comHometown, Harlem sensation the 23-year-old rapper narrates her life from a broken childhood to earning the street’s respect as a MC. Born Rachquel Bellot in the City of New York, Trinni grew up the second oldest with dreams of being a world famous entertainer. She wrote lots of music and poetry as a young girl but never knew exactly what to do with her talents. Trinni has always had a passion for music and in November 2004 she knew she had to do something. She was always told by the outside world that she was talented but her family told her the opposite, which was very discouraging and caused her to put her passion on hold for a while. After listening to MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, and Yo Yo, she made up her mind and starting getting back into her first love, music. Trinni spits flamboyant phrases of her life experiences on a catchy track and then it’s all over. When you listen to her music you’ll know who she is as a person and as an artist; a lyricist, hustler, and the true definition of a superstar. Told by many in the business that no matter how “hot†she is she wouldn’t be successful being heavy set. Her response to that was, “there are a lot of “’sex symbols†in this industry that can’t sell records because they can’t flow or market themselvesâ€. “The world is going to feel what I’m saying because I speak on topics that everyone can relate toâ€. “I know that I have to work harder to get my foot in the door and earn my respect as a MC but I don’t mind because I love what I doâ€. To make her dream a reality, Trinni hooked up with local producers for beats, started writing more material, and later began recording in the studio. By the end of 2006, Trinni had a marketable project completed and she was ready to see what the world had to say about it. She recorded her own mix tape and blasted it out of her husband’s 1993 Chevy Caprice and sold roughly 5,000 copies that month. Focusing on getting a buzz, she traveled across the states, going to seminars and conferences to meet with labels, standing on the city corners of New York, Baltimore, and Washington DC promoting her music, performing at the world famous Apollo, and touring on a 25 City Tour hoping to be heard by the right person. Trinni has also entered in 12 open mic contests ruled the best in 8 of them and was selected as BET's "Ya Heard Pick Of The Week". Trinni was also selected as a finalist for the Lil' Wayne's Reality Show after thousands auditioning in New York City. Gradually gaining her respect as a powerful lyricist with a great stage presence, she always found strange tactics to get heard and it has all paid off. Her coolest of the cool personality, work ethics, and drive to succeed has gotten her thus far and nothing can stop her now. Moving back home to the City of New York was one of her many sacrifices made to make this music thing happen and she’s on her way to success. She’s said to be the best female rapper alive and soon you’ll find out why.
