Luiee "yB" Perez was Born On June 1st in Phoenix, Arizona. Out of his five siblings he is the only child to be born outside of New York. Feeling indifferent growing up he wrote alot of poetry about his life and the people around him. Listening to alot of Big Pun and Biggie Smalls at the time, his poetry evolved, and at the age of 9 he decided to write music instead of poetry. When he started off his name was"LJ". It wasn't until after his incarceration at 16 did he get the name youngBrighton. He took the name to heart and vowed he'd b the prince of New Brighton and soon the king of Staten Island. youngBrighton doesn't think like normal rappers or even rap like normal rappers. In fact he swears he is not a rapper but a hip hop artist. Meaning that he raps with a purpose driven by the love of music and he tries to relay a message in his songs while at the same time has fun with it. youngBrighton doesn't have the same sound as artist nowadays and thats what is going to make him a great rapper/artist.
