About Me
This band consists of 5 members, one vocalist, two guitar players, a bass player, and a drummer.
Each of the five guys had been playing in different bands before, bands well known to the people in the DR.
Ruben and Wil both played in a band called Hagakure, a band that was considered the pioneer of the emo and
hardcore wave on the scene, no other bands played this genre because those bands were mostly punk. Beto also
plays bass in a band called A.L.F., one of the most famous bands in the country.
Henry's old band, Wall Emotion, broke up, and caused him to start looking for new people to play with,
this is where he meets Ruben and Wilbert and they discuss a new project. They were missing a vocalist
and bass player, so Henry told Sergio, the vocalist for Wall Emotion, to fill in the spot. They knew
Beto played bass, so they talked to him about the new band and he agreed to play. After a while, Sergio
had to leave the band for undisclosed reasons. The vocalist spot was open, so the guys started looking
for someone that met the standards. They used Tito, guitar player for A.L.F., as a temporary singer until
they found someone that could stay, since Tito was very busy and couldnt stay in for long. Beto knew a kid
named Christopher from a party he went to a long time ago, but he hesitated to ask him because he already
had 3 bands at the time. But after a while, he suggested Christopher and the guys gave him a call and told
him to go to the rehearsal studio because they wanted to try him out. They rehearsed a couple songs, and
they liked him, so they asked him to be the vocalist, he was flattered and agreed to the proposal. So the
lineup was completed in early July of 2006 and they could begin creating music. Henry left the band due to personal issues, and Josue filled in the missing guitar spot.
In conclusion,
Aurora is: Wilbert, Ruben, Christopher, Josue and Beto, five guys from different backrounds, that after
playing in previous bands, found each other to create this new project called Aurora.
