About Me

Welcome to the official myspace for Night is Day Scotland's superhero TV series! Focusing on Jason Mackenzie (Chris Summers), as he is possessed with an ancient lightning-powered demon, forcing him to use his powers for good to protect the innocent people in the city from gangsters, villains, vampires, demons and the evil Mr. Philips (Tam Toye).

Series 1 comprises of 6 episodes, ranging between 10-15 minutes, with the finale lasting 35 minutes. Filming started in August 2006 and wrapped in April 2007. Jason saved Amy Campbell (Shian Denovan) from an attacker on her way home from work. Jason was hurt and Amy managed to get him back to her flat. There he told her his story and the two were thrown into danger as Mr. Philips tried to rule the world by releasing an evil Queen Demon into the world. The two disc DVD set is now available at http://www.nightisday.com. Propeller TV on SKY as well as Canadian TV have shown the episodes so far.

Series 2 started filming in May 2008 in Glasgow as we film the 7 part series in Stirling and Glasgow. Each episode will last 25 minutes and will feature super villains, demons, vampires and Jason's estranged older brother. Carter Ferguson who is a fight director from "Taggart" and "River City" is working with us to stage our fights for series 2 and Colin McCredie who plays DC Stuart Fraser in "Taggart" guest stars in episode 3.

Our blog is constantly being updated with new photos on http://www.nightisday.com and an exclusive teaser trailer will be released soon.
