I wrote & recorded my first songs when I was 11 years old. My "studio" was a hand-held cassette recorder placed in between a
Rapman Casio
keyboard and my mouth. I sent it into Elektra Records, hoping for a record deal. I still have the polite letter of rejection
the a&r sent me.
I've performed on MTV. I've been played & interviewed on major Top 40 and college radio stations coast to coast.
I've won awards for my
production, vocals, and guitar playing. Strippers across America have danced to my songs. I've been in emcee battle competitions.
I've worked with engineers who are certified platinum. I've recorded in many studios
and rocked countless stages both as a solo artist and in bands. I've worked with enough musicians, rappers, producers and promoters
to fill a small club. I've lived all of the county in all different kinds of situations. I've paid my dues and then some. All that has led me here.
Gemini Ryan is the third & final alias of my solo career. I've incorporated all of my influences & experiences to make the
sound you hear today. I played most all the instruments on the album as well as wrote & produced the songs myself.
There will be three albums composed of six tracks each. I will continue to diversify and grow as an
artist until the final chapter is written. I did not choose this destiny, it chose me.
This is my revolution.
