♫DOUBLE WONDERFUL

double wonderful started when john kearney, gabe damico, and gordon kenny decided to form a band to play a show with their friend andrew valentino in the summer of 06. they, in jan 07, reformed with keyboadist damon jablons to play a show at the glen head boys and girls club.
after some time, with other members at school, the group RE-reformed with Gordon on keys and Matt "Matty Beans" Aidala on drums. Between march 07 - may 07 they took tips to boston to record an E.P. with the help of their friend Mike Post. (myspace.com/mikepostrecordings). In the summer of 07 with their recordings, the 2 set out on bringing smooth pop to the world by playing shows in the NY, BK, and LI area as well as 2 shows in Vermont. Now that summer is over the 2 are working on a Television Show for Long Island's Public Access. "the DOUBLE WONDERFUL show", the story of 2 boys trying to bring pop culture back in the hands of the consumer and out of the hands of the corporate, moneyhungry, bloodsucking gatekeepers. SOOO be on the look out for gordon and matt this fall and winter, Sunday Nights @ 12:30 on cablevision's public access. (starting in OCT, nassau only).
