I am the proud newly married mom of 3 small boys and a step-son. My third child was born on January 15, 2008. He was 8lbs 9.4 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. I am very excited about having him in my family. My boys are Timmy and Danny, and with the new addition I also have a Mikey. As of May 24th, I also became a step-mom to EJ, my husband's son.I graduated from Lock Haven University with a BS of Education, and graduated with a teaching certificate in the field of Special Education. In Fall 2008, I will be starting my MS in Reading. Once I complete this program and take the test I will be certified to teach reading as well.I am currently the Coordinator of Direct Instruction and a Special Education advisor for the Tuscarora Blended Learning Charter School where I have been gainfully employed since July 2004. I have taught students in grades K - 12, but this year I am teaching students in 1st through 7th. I enjoy my job and love the daily challenge of providing the best education I can to all my students.Since March 2007, I have been the Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack #248. It is a very interesting experience being in charge of so many young lives but I live for the challenge.I also am the Team Captain for the Tuscarora Blended Learning Charter School's Relay for Life team as well as the Prom Chair and Chaperone.
