the samos

the samos is the band formed as a melting pot of various genres.
John "Shigeo" Doe, the former leader of electro breakbeat unit “SBK”, questioned the mixture electronic music movement at the time as the elements of mixing were becoming more and more immobilised.
This reason was the trigger for him to experiment new musical possibilities along with his brother Raymond (Key/DJ), Hitoshi Ohishi (Mixer/DJ) who had already been playing acting role as DJ and producer in Techno field (“newdeal”) and M.I.T. (MPC/Electro-Dr) in 2005.
Collected “Noises” from “Cities” are transported by the “Underground” and to be trashed and rebuilt into kick-drums and percussion; Hitoshi Ohishi’s TB303 then sews them together with liquefied acid bass.
Their sound is like “early 90’s New Wave in a bag pack” left under the sun to ferment for 10 years. Nostalgic yet cutting edge, the samos give the listeners visual imagery.
It’s not too much to say - it’s a “cinematic rock”.

エレクトロブレイクビーツユニットSBKのリー ダーであったJohn "Shigeo" DoeはMIXする要素が固定化しつつあったミクス チャームーブメントを静観するべく活動休止 したのをきっかけに、実弟Raymond (key/dj),Dj,プロデューサー,テクノフィールドだ§newdealとしても活躍するHitoshi Ohishi(Mixer/Dj),M.I.T.(mpc&electro-dr)と共に2005å¹´æ ´»å‹•ã‚’開始する。
地下鉄を乗り継ぎ採取された街のnoiseã¯åˆ†è§£å †æ§‹ç¯‰ã•ã‚Œkickやリズムに組み込まれ、 Hitoshi OhishiのTB303がその間を縫うように泳いでゆく㠀ã‚¢ãƒ¼ãƒªãƒ¼90’s New Waveをパックに入れて10年間日向に放置した様 な彼らのSoundã¯æ‡ã‹ã—ããã—ã¦æ–°ã—ã„ã€ã¾ãŸè ´ãè€…に映像を浮かばせてしまう音像はシネ㠃žãƒ†ã‚£ãƒƒã‚¯ãƒ­ãƒƒã‚¯ã¨è¨€ã£ã¦ã‚‚過言では無いだ㠂ã†ã€‚
