About Me

I like counting how many folks I see in their cars touching their cellphone antenna to their mouth and appearing to be in deep contemplation. How is that I've been waking up in the morning for 30 years now and I'm still no good at it? Bah! I still have never woken up and not opened my eyes immediately. That's as hard as sneezing with your eyes open. In the middle of the room I glide, glancing around the open space surrounding me. No annoying tugging of gravity below, I let loose of convention and release the chains. It is such a small space to experience, but all beginnings begin in such a way. I look up, forward, back, and around again, for in the light comes knowledge within. Drown out the noise of the beings about, and fight off the shrill, the screech and the shout. Plant my roots. Hold fast and strong as the tumultuous winds blow hard and long. Tomorrow, I start it over again with my wife, family, and all our good friends. You can make many words forward and backward with every stop sign you see. Just add an "s" to the end of stop and you get so many words. Stop, stops, top, tops, spots, spot, pots, pot, to. Racecar backwards is racecar. Say "Amen, Brother" if you think customer service has become outstandingly bad. Diana is my wife and she is the apple of my eye. Think, drink, sometimes stink, skin is pink, isn't it funny that oink doesn't rhyme with pink? Unless it was pronounced in a french way, then it would be "wink". Pigs are pink. Cars expose how people really want to treat you. How often has someone cut in front of you in line? How often have you been cut off? I've turned TVs off or on before by just walking in the room. It scared me when I was a kid but not as I got older. It hasn't happened in a while. I wonder if I'm not as exciting as I used to be. Modern ADD really disappoints me. My hands are always dirty, my pillow always brown. Our cat likes two people. Right now I'm drinking Budweiser. My front yard has 40 pines, but not for long. Don't worry, the hardwoods will stay. I wish I could play music. I drove past a lake today and realized, after having fished most of my life, that I really don't know how to fish. I think if you're in the right frame of mind, you can see music. The story of the zipperman is one of the strangest stories I have. Isn't it funny we call it common sense when it isn't very common?

My Interests

I build stuff for you.
I love being outside, and I'm not afraid of trees. I don't hate squirrels, they're just trying to live, too. I can always tell where my cat is whether it is in my yard or my neighbors' yard because of the sounds the squirrels make when he is near. I find peanuts in my yard and I believe them to be from squirrel-man around the corner as he feeds and takes care of squirrels. I miss winter and wonder if we will ever have a normal one around here again. I made a 12' snowflake out of wood with lights on it for Christmas and hung it from the poplar tree behind my house. I think it was a hit. The Wintergreen trip was fun this year even though there wasn't much snow to board on. I'm still working on riding regular foot while on said snowboard. I strongly favor goofy. My brain must be very one sided. I must need to work on that. People. One week they can really impress you, the next you feel like you're swimming in a sea of shit pancakes. Somebody throw me a life vest and some syrup. Crows. They're so dark, mysterious, and apparently very smart. Snowboard, surf, kayak, bike, build, listen to the crickets, listen to the leaves, listen to music, bother my wife, sleep on the couch, sit on the deck, enjoy a fire, cold beer - hot shower, kick my own ass, eat an excellent meal, watch people really laugh, obey the ghosts, ride the songlines, get freak nasty, alter the mind, exit myself, give to another, chocolate soy milk, Mister's expressions, solar power, salsa, wood, concrete, talk to myself, (and the wood) while working, I'm not interested in high humidity. walking slower on purpose, wonder why we see only one side of the moon,

I'd like to meet:

Am I stylish? Are you stylish? I don't know. I'm confused, maybe I should just listen. Isn't that the logical answer? It appears so. It may be. Yes. Possibly. I love it. And the beauty that surrounds...
