Kohei Yamao a.k.a bakibaki
Bakibaki was born in 1978 in Senri New-Town, Osaka.
He started his artistic career in Kyoto as a part of live-painting duo called
" DOPPEL ".
In 2005,
he exhibited his works as a solo artist for the first time at Aichi Expo.
Using minimal straight lines, which he calls "bakibaki", he seeks beauty
in a hyper-consumerism society where trends quickly and disappear.
Currently he lives in Tokyo.
