About Me

Eddy Bugnut, affectionately known as Bug, is a producer/songwriter from Vancouver who writes and performs guitar-based songs. He works from his own home recording studio called the Devil's Workshop and is currently completing work on a solo album called Heavy Medicine.
Bug plays bass guitar with Ettinger, one of Vancouver's top club acts. Before leaving to perform music full-time on the road Bug taught guitar and music theory at Douglas Academy of Music and later at Long and McQuade.
Bug formerly played lead guitar and was producer for Major Goodvibes, a band which released 3 CDs ("Fearful Feasible Feast", "Shut Up and Get Out of My Mansion!" and "Girl's In Love With My Money") and was featured on 2 compilation CDs ("Vancouver Seeds" and New York City-based "Reaction Volume 7"). Major Goodvibes’ song "Metropolitan" went Top 20 in Chicago and it's song "See Me, Roll Me, Smoke Me" hit 1 on the High Times website charts.
Bug studied jazz guitar at Douglas Academy and attended Vanouver Art School as a music production student. After graduating, he worked as an engineer at The Sanctuary Studio in Vancouver. In addition to his own material Bug is currently producing new recordings for such acts as Major Goodvibes, TSEAN, and Ettinger.
