Jogsok is the University of Glasgow Geographical Society. We are one of the largest societies on Campus with just over 200 members.Most weeks, usually on a Tuesday, we hold events in the Geography Department (East Quadrangle) with a lecture from a guest speaker, or a taster session - whisky, vodka, etc - or even having a "wee party".Every year, around January, we hold a Ceilidh and Burns Supper, and at the end of term, we have an 'End of Term' event, which brings the students and the Geography lecturers together for a night of drinks, laughter and entertainment!Jogsok is open to all students, even if you don't study Geography!
How Do I Join?
If you are interested in becoming a member of our society, why not pop along one evening to one (or a couple!) of our events - that way you'll get to meet some members of the committee and the society.It costs just £2.00 to join Jogsok, and this allows unlimited access to most events throughout the year - some events may cost extra on the actual night they are scheduled, depending on their nature.
