About Me

"THE CAUSE" MISSION STATEMENT: To bring government reform regarding the the treatment of our military; past, present, and future including their immediate families.
This site is to raise support for our military; past, present, and future including their immediate families. The government doesn't seem to give a shit about our military, especially our Veterans. I hope to gain enough support through this site to eventually take to the media. The ultimate goal is for the government to hear the "voice of the people" and start using our tax dollars to better fund our military and their immediate families and provide better care for our Veterans.
MY MOTIVATION: My dad was a Marine and served in Vietnam for 15 months as a radio man. He was in the artillery but provided infantry support. Remember, Vietnam Vets that went, when they were called upon, came home to people that totally disrespected them and spit on them! Fuck that!
My dad was exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam. He is experiencing major health problems these days which no doctor has been able to figure out. These include muscle deterioration, nerve deterioration, and Bells Palsy, which has left the right side of his face paralyzed. He has had surgery to hold his eye open so he can see. I talked to him today and told him I wondered if his problems might be related to the Agent Orange exposure. He told me that he already looked into that and had contacted the VA hospital in Baltimore. HE CAN'T BE SEEN UNTIL MARCH OF 2007! THERE IS ONLY 1, YES I SAID 1 DOCTOR THAT HANDLES THE AGENT ORANGE CASES! That tells me the government doesn't give a shit about our Veterans. Yes, I capitalize Veterans because they deserve it!
MY PARTNER'S MOTIVATION: Wilbur "Buck" Cook - "Buck" was my great uncle and was a U.S. Marine. He was a Vietnam Vet who received the Purple Heart. He passed away on Oct. 4, 2005 from Agent Orange and the government was supposed to give him a cerimony but they never did.. they didnt give a shit about him. He died in pain because the government didn't give a damn about him. He defended our country and the government couldn't even give him a small cerimony? They were supposed to fly his body back to Maryland and bury him in Dulaney Memorial Gardens to let the man rest.. but no .. the government didnt care about my great uncle and they still dont care about our friends and families across sea's. So in conclusion to all of this PLEASE support our cause..Please
You see the flashy commercials playing the rock n' roll music to get the kids all pumped up to join. What the government doesn't say is that "we really don't give a shit about you". The military is a thankless job but this one person appreciates them. It's because of the military that my friend and I can sit here safely on the internet creating this very important site.
In conclusion, THANK THE MILITARY! When I see a person that is obviously in the military I say "thanks for defending my freedom". That is, if I have the balls that day. Well I have the balls now. So, the next time you see a little old man hobbling through the mall with his WWII Veteran hat on, go say "thank you sir for defending my freedom"! He'll probably drop dead of a heart attack but at least he'll go out knowing he was appreciated. When you see a guy rolling in his wheel chair with his MIA hat on and one leg missing, go say thank you! For those of you that don't know, MIA = Missing In Action. Most likely he is a Vietnam Vet, because we had so many men that never came home and were never accounted for.
