Originally From Scotland, I'm 45 years old, yep a golden oldie, but I've got most of my original teeth and I can still tie my shoelaces from a standing position! LOL! I'm a mostly self-taught Artist and my favourite mediums are watercolour pencils, oil and acrylic paints.I paint purely for my own pleasure although I do commissioned work occasionally, I have staged a few exhibitions in Scotland and Southern England where I now live. Most of my inspiration comes from old myths and legends , the fabulous Pre-Raphaelite painters of old and my own imagination, I love to use real people as models in my work as much as possible, music is also a great artistic stimulation, especially Paul Weller and Eddie Reader. I love historical books, old movies (and a few new) and tv documentaries about ancient history and mysteries. My only ambition would be to live to see total peace, and an end to all wars (not too much to ask for, in my opinion )...yeah I know its a cliche...but a magnificent one all the same!Remember...No matter where you go...there you are!
