In 1995 eMpyre ramireX began DJ'ing for college radio. It quickly became apparent that there was plenty of awesome undiscovered music that should be heard by more people. In 2000 the groundwork was laid and in 2001 the label was born. On February 4, 2002 the first CD Share Warez was launched featuring newly discovered talent and many friends from college that also worked at WUPX.
Next up came the indie/progressive hip-hop compilation Untyin' Lost Souls in 2004 . This disc featured songs by Dubphonics, Heiruspecs, S.U.N., One.Be.Lo, Spitball, Switch Stance, Intricate Dialect, Darkstarz, DJ Criminal feat. Felix from Heiruspecs, AprAxiA and Mystery Ink. This disc is STILL makin waves 3 years later.
Next up came an EP by Suisse Modular a trip-hop trio of wonderful ladies with beautiful talents from Brooklyn NYC.
The lastest release is an experimental Drum & Bass masterpiecce by Pittsburgh's Arabb.
In the works 2 grade-A compilations with unbelievable un-discovered talent that'll hang with the big budget major label big dogs.
Galactic Dust has worked with MTV, Warner Bros Film, The Grammy Association, Obie Trice (Eminem), Paradime (Kid Rock), The Daily Show, 411 VM and hundreds of college radio stations across North America.
