Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn was formed in late 2005. While still in high school, they wanted to do something a little more aggressive in regards to sound then bands they had played with in the past. Harley Quinn quietly gained more and more of a reputation for having a very explosive and energetic live show, intertwined with their undeniable chemistry. By 2006 the band found themselves with the opportunity to record with producer Brian Moncarz, (The Junction, Silverstein, Pilate, and Lucas Rossi) who helped them record their first demo “4 Larger then Life Tracks.” The demo received excellent reviews from local and international fans, which especially highlighted the diversity of each individual track. One indie magazine described the band as consistently passionate, and never the same mood twice. It is hard to distinguish what genre Harley Quinn fits into, but it will be interesting to see what comes next for them. The band finds influences through heavier sounds from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Smashing Pumpkins, Jane’s Addiction, and Pearl Jam among many others. Their Ep is due sometime during the Spring of 2008 where they will be working with Brian Moncarz again, and are promising some great things for the next set of songs.Get your layout at PimpMySpaceCodes.net
