Books:

The Monkey Wrench Gang - one of the most entertaining books I've ever read, HAYDUKE LIVES... Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance - very inspiring read, I almost became an English teacher after reading this book, For Whom The Bell Tolls - Hemingway... just about anything by Hemingway actually, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test - Tom Wolfe, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Hunter S. Thompson, 1984 & Animal Farm - George Orwell, On The Road, Big Sur, and The Dharma Bums - Jack Kerouac, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey, Catch-22 - Joseph Heller, Childhood's End - Arthur C. Clarke, Junky - William S. Burroughs, Lord of the Flies - William Golding, and the entire Dune series by Frank Herbert.I also like Tom Clancy and R.A. Salvatore, the latter especially if I don't feel like thinking a great deal about my reading.
