I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

I currently live in Champaign, IL, however, I plan to eventually move to Montreal, QC, CA. I recently went to Montreal for two weeks and pretty much fell in love. I'm hoping to get into school for this next semester and I'm looking into being certified within Health Care, such as X-Ray technology or Lab Technology. I also want and need to learn French as it would be rather helpful. You'll see me in Montreal hopefully in less than two years. .
I am a Socialist, a Secularist, a Leftist, a Feminist, a Progressive. I meet the idealism of Utopian thought, yet, still understand the realism of Capitalist greed and militarist Imperialism. I am a radical in the sense I do not meet the goals of a traditional society -- Conservatively placed in the Anglo-Christian threshold of heterosexual father-hood. I do not believe a man is defined as a warmonger or a bully nor do I believe women must share the duties of homemaker and submissive house-maid. I believe in the just structure of a democratic society whereby people control what directly effects their lives. I believe in the equal model where equality is not determined by one's color, origin, sex, sexual preference -- a society based on the principles of social, economic, and environmental justice, is plausible; it is up to the people to see to it that it indeed becomes a reality.
How did I get into the world? Why was I not asked about it and why was I not informed of the rules and regulations but just thrust into the ranks as if I had been bought by a peddling shanghaier of human beings? How did I get involved in this big enterprise called actuality? Why should I be involved? Isn't it a matter of choice? And if I am compelled to be involved, where is the manager—I have something to say about this. Is there no manager? To whom shall I make my complaint?~Repetion- Kierkegaard

A New Gay Rights Movement Stirs

Perhaps it is a bittersweet outcome in Florida, Arizona, and the Golden State of California that rights were taken away and reduced for people to actually get mad. Civil Rights in this nation have alw...

Twenty-First Century Approach: Leftism and Division

The terrain of political thinking and the growing thereof is such a complex process; we think we believe in one system of political righteousness and then realize we believe in the polar opposite. It ...

The War on Dissent

Traveling with fellow comrades to protest and dissent at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota was a journey in of itself. Solidarity was more profound than I've ever witnessed and...

Reason over Jingoism

I can't help but read and hear the constant criticism towards certain people because they appear "anti-American" or "unpatriotic" as if those are things to be afraid of. However, I believe the most ho...

Democracy

The truest form of Democracy is government ruled by the people, not by a leader. It is not about "experience" or "qualification" but, rather, the collective of society deciding and having voice in th...
