Yall already know im a Brooklyn born child. Shout Outs to the docs in Kings County Hospital for the clean delivery. I grew up in the Brownsville area of BK, moved to Farragut PJ's when i was around 13, but for like the first couple of years out there i always took my ass back to the Ville.At the age of 14 i decided i wanted to start being a crowd pleaser, weither it was with a basketball, or a couple of bars that may excite a few people.
I started chilling in Farragut, met a few good people that i chill with to this day, shout out to all yall, I wont go through the names, ill be here forever, i just might have a shout out list later on, but back to me. Always played ball, wasnt good at first, always had a "MEAN JUMPER", left the hood, went back to the "HOME OF THE BRAVE-BROWNSVILLE", worked on my game, got a sick handle, and went back to Farragut and made a new name for myself. But that wasnt enough. I began writing bars here and there with my aces... Zodd, Admiral and Cherokee...AKA...Preime. We use to sit in the house and write some sick joints, record mad freestyles, and just colab on some crazy concepts for songs. Now again, i wasnt that nice, so i locked my self in my room for hours a day, at that time i was steaming that greenery, that was my hype man...LMAO. I wrote a few solo songs, came up with a few songs that i wanted to do with my homies, by the way, we called ourselves
BBS (Brooklyn Bound Soilders). So again, i wrote a few solo joints, stepped my game up crazy in a few months, never was too big on listening to new cats that was coming out, or the Hype Of The Month is what i use to call'em, i was more interested in their tracks, getting their instrumentals, and doing them joints dirty. So a few songs and mad freestyles later, i decided this is what i like doing. I found myself linking up with people that was serious with the music, got a couple of pointers from them, good looking yall! Also met a few people that was already doing big things for themselves, made a few songs and freestyles with people. One of my first joints recorded was at my man DLS HEADQUARTERS STUDIO... BIG SHOUT OUT TO YOU D... GOOD LOOKING HOMIE, me and my homegirl Candice, now she was one of the hottest Femcees I've ever heard. It got to a point where i was like DAMN, had to switch up a few songs because i heard her joints. Shout out to you Candice, hope you still doing it WAY BIG!
Yeah, me and Candis did this joint called "THE HATING BEGUN".... sick.... we were suppose to perform that joint at Club Speed, this where the dissapointment kicks in yall, so, we prepared for this joint for weeks, get to the damn club, and i forget i have my Dutch splitter in my pocket, damn bouncers tossed my ass out. (dont get it twisted, they told me that i couldnt come in, they didnt throw me out like some cartoon character)
So me and a few people that came to see the performances bounced, went and sat in Mckie D's. My frustration caused me to water my eyes, but i was good, about a gallon of Hennesy later, i was freestyling dissing them cats. Oh Yeah, always stayed on my freestyle game, tight!
I used to sit in the crib with my homie Crave, another sick cat, i mean, i was saying back in the days this dude would have been the first 106 & Park cat to take that Freestlye Friday joint, lucky for a lot of yall that he didnt get in that joint. But we use to be in the crib writing verse after verse after verse and plenty verses after verse. We helped eachother stay on top of our game. GOOD LOOKS MY DUDE! He doing the damn thing too! We were just animals on that freestyle shit, and still is, "COME TEST THE BOY"Back To The Future, now-a-days, I'm on the tip top of my game, writing atleast 2-3 songs a day, freestyle game is like a conversation to me.
I remember one time when my homie Malet came to the block, he brought his cousin KKay(check out his page) to the block. KKay is an A&R for Universal Records, we always use to chill back in the days when he came around, we would chill have laugh or two, I beleive that was the rookie days of us drinking. Any way, he brought him through, and KKay was like, "I heard you spit and you nice", I just came from playing ball, I'm in the back seet with my basketball gear on. So, after a couple of minutes of polying, he put on some tracks, and GOD DAMN DID I BLACK OUT! I freestyled for I dont know how long, but I remember him playing atleast 18 tracks for me, and I freestyled through all of them, no stopping and going to the next track, I mean, I went from track to track, from the first second to the 2-3 minutes or however long the tracks were.
Every since, we've been working on a few joints, he gave me some extra pointers on the game, the approach I should have, tried booking me for some shows, just showing me mad love, not as a artist, he invited my as family, he wasnt one of those cats that got a comfortable chair in a office and was like, I'll be back around to let you know the status, and never return, nah, he use to look for me just as much as I was looking for him.
