Band Members: WHO IS DRAGON LAZER? Steve "Grip" Stipple, bassist of Dragon Lazer. Steve is a hothead whose intensity on stage is unmatched. Steve often finds himself crying over a bottle of Jack Daniels after a show confessing his illiteracy to a groupie in the midst of a blowjob. Steve got his nickname after a show in Tulsa, OK in 2002 when, after cussing out a groupie he was left to pleasure himself. The next morning the other band members found him passed out in the back of the bus with a bottle of jack in h his left hand and a firm "grip" on his dick with his right. Steve's contributions to the group include musical c composition, a hard rockin, in your face attitude, and a large variety of assless pants and fishnet shirts.Izzy D’Facto- drummer of Dragon Lazer- The drummer for Dragon Lazer never seems to be around. Izzy D’Facto is “The Quiet Oneâ€. He doesn’t grant live interviews. He won’t make special appearances. A cloud of mystery surrounds him, making him ever popular with groupies. He is on Dragon Lazer’s albums & credited as a contributed writer of their songs but never seems to be hanging out with the band. When asked about their drummer, Dragon Lazer usually just says, “Izzy likes to keep to himself.†If you’re ever at a bar with the guys from Dragon Lazer & you ask, “Where is Izzy?†They usually reply, “He’s in the bathroom.†Or, “he hooked up with some chick & leftâ€. One thing is for sure; Izzy D’Facto gets more chicks than anyone in the band.Sonny Smith (aka “SSâ€), guitarist of Dragon Lazer- Over the years the nickname “SS†has come to represent much more than just Sonny Smith’s initials. After numerous arrests for public nudity, “SS†stood for Streaking Smith, Sneaky Smith and even Salami Smith. Ass cheeks spread wide, Smith stood on the balcony of a hotel room, taunting vacationing families below at the hotel pool. Security threw Smith out of the hotel room, which wasn’t even his. That little stunt earned him status amongst his peers, not to mention a few under-age groupies who were on summer vacation with their families. Most of all “SS†is used as a description for Sonny Smith’s highly charged V8 guitar sound, like a 476 Super Sport.Rockus McMannus – lead singer of Dragon Lazer Rockus hails from “Steel Town†Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His father was a booze swilling steel worker and his mother died when Rockus was only 5. Rockus was raised hard and fast by only his father. Rockus quickly learned how to take a beating and build his rage. As a result of his upbringing and his “Steel Town†surroundings, “METAL†now course through his veins. Rockus has a “Take no shit†attitude and lavishes in all hedonistic pleasures. Legend has it that Rockus will try anything, do anything, and say anything that brings him pleasure…or pain. His coursing lyrical tirades will assault your mind and question your existence.
