About Me

ALL PHOTOGRAPHS ON THIS PAGE ARE PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT AND MAY NOT BE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION.
Simon is a self taught musician and photographer, he started with percussion in the early 90’s and moved on to the Didgeridoo in 1994. Simon then played the Didgeridoo as a rhythmic instrument with two bands, he then toured with these bands across the London and home counties areas. Moving on from the bands, he studied circular breathing and more advanced breathing techniques. For photography he uses a digital SLR and takes a keen interest in live music and band photography and also wildlife and land scapeIn 1999 Simon started to record his debut album called "well Now Ya Here!" this is a fusion of Didgeridoo and keyboards, drums and spoken voice and ranges from chilled out to upbeat. Simon attended a charity event following 9/11 and was asked to talk to children about Australia and the Aboriginal people. So that’s how the workshops started and Simon has now done many of these across the South East in state and private schools.
Simon also runs courses on the Didgeridoo.. and is currenty the Didgeridoo teacher at Eton College. You can also find him touring schools and Childrens groups, though sometimes it is Adults and talks about Australia and the Aboriginal People. The workshops are popular due to the hands on nature of learning to play the Didgeridoo.
In the past Simon has been interviewed on BBC radio Berkshire with the didgeridoo on several occasions to promote his CD and the instrument workshops.
As you can see Simon is able to cover most photographic needs and suggests if you have any need for images, prints or to commission a photographer that you get in touch.

Simon recently used the technique known as "Light Painting" at Durdle Dor in Dorset, here a big torch is used to light a subject at night during a long exposure shot, Currently Simon is the first person to ever use this technique at this Unesco World Heritage site.Prints range from £15.00 -£600.
