About Me

Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Myspace Layouts ZONK has been making music, in his brain and body, forever, but for real... ZONK has been making music for the past 4 years, electronically. He grew up singing Tenor in the choruses and choirs of middle and high schools, and played the French Horn in Concert Band, the Mellophone in the Marching Band and took some Piano lessons before he quit because he had one of those mean old ladies for a Piano teacher. Therefore, he is somewhat classically trained. Most of his music making is for himself, as another outlet of creativity and for therapeutic/healing purposes. But he has produced an album, Exploreverie, with the intention of use by individuals who practice meditation and yogic practices... ZONK premiered his first composition recently, July 15th, 2006, as the soundtrack to a Performance Art piece entitled "Paradise Lost", inspired by the epic poem by John Milton and Dante Alghieri's "Inferno"... ZONK has a total of 5 completed albums to his credit, ZONKOLOGY (2002), I SPY (2003) EXPLOREVERIE (2004), DIVINE Recordings(Spoken Word), Endless Love Recordings - Vol. 1 (2005). But that's hardly all of what he has done... Currently he is working on a second volume of Endless Love Recordings, as well as a dance album, and more "conceptual" albums inspired by Ancient Egypt uses Egyptian modes/scales, and a fantasy album...

I make music from whatever inspires me and work hard to produce unique and new music. Only in attempts to learn more about Chord Progressions and Industry Songwriting and the such, do I begin to sound like anybody...
