I was born in West Germany; raised in Galveston, an island off the south eastern coast of Texas. I completed my high school and undergraduate education in Southern California.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Film and Visual Culture from the University of California, Riverside. Overall, I have had a well-rounded upbringing, having resided in diverse locations with unique histories and living and learning with a constantly eclectic group of people.
I consider myself an out-of-the-box thinker, a people-person, and a versatile worker. I enjoy writing, painting, drawing, and doodling; and I would love to incorporate these activities into my professional life. I attribute my confidence in pursuing a creative career to the support of my family and friends, who never demand that I jump on the bandwagon, go with flow, or flock with the sheep.
