The Running Man has been mixing since 1992, making his radio debut on Flex 103.6 FM at the age of 16, shortly after becoming resident at a night put on by D.V.ANT Records at the Fridge Bar, Brixton. He became one of the original members of Shadow FM, and was playing alongside Twisted Individual, MC Jakes, Crystal Clear and many more. Running Man continued to play at nights for D.V.ANT which included the It's All Bollocks party's @ Brixton Academy & Mass, Trojan @ Mass, the D.V.ANT tent at the Legalise Cannabis Festival @ Brockwell Park and countless warehouse parties and illegal raves. Meanwhile he had begun writing and producing his own tracks, while studying acoustics, electronics, engineering and production techniques, eventually gaining the equivalent of 2 A'levels at these subjects and others. He then set up his own drum and bass record label by the name of Unsocial Audio and released four of his tracks which have been played by Randall, Mampi Swift, Nicky Black Market, Ray Keith, Devious-D, Kane, DJ Ital, Ruffstuff, Swan-E, Peshay and many more...
Unsocial Audio then licensed four tracks to a film called Rollin' Through The Decades, a British skateboarding documentary by Winston Witter, with a sound track that varies from The Stranglers to Bad Company UK (as seen on Sky Sports). Since then he has worked with many different producers and artists such as one of Roots Manouva's producers, Gabriel Cornish, Enzyme from 2 Fresh, Flashback, remixed tracks for Argentinean rock & roll star David Lebon and more...
After doing the rounds on the illegal rave scene, The Running Man started getting spots at club nights such as Dekefex, Sub Noise, Education, Tempo, Get Naked and others. In 2004 Running Man, Jamma and the Unsocial Audio team promoted Legends Of The Dark Black @ Mass, which saw a good turn out of 900 people.
He had his first Hardcore Breaks release out on JSA Records, entitled "Now Big Up", and has now launched Firewall Records, a Hardcore Breaks label, which feature his tracks "Blackboard Jungle", "Techno Bop" and "Warped Sense Of Humour". The first two releases are being met with an exellent response from everyone in the scene. A Drum and Bass release "Whats His Fuck" forthcoming on Raw Recordings 002 is due any day now and another Hardcore Breaks release "Skacore" on Buzzbee 004 is in the pipeline.
