Born Jude Hazel this Brooklyn native was destined to produce. His passion for music began at the tender age of 8 when his Father "Odongo" Blessed him with his first instrument, a Steel Drum. J. Fonixx would soon discover his gift for detailed sound, and rythm.At age 12 he joined his middle school band while making steps to further enjoy his journey in the world of music. Being the child of a West Indian father, and an American mother gave him diversity in culture, everyday life, and music.Today J. Fonixx has produced for some of Miami's top Spoken Word Artists and M.C.'s such as Mecca a.k.a Grimo, Def Poets such as Asia, & Will-The-Real-1. He has also worked on projects with others such as Caheej, Rebecca Butterfly, A.T.W. and many more. He has just completed his very own debut album entitled " Book Of Jude". Laced with Soulful Electric Hip-Hop with caribbean flavor. This album is just a peek into the many talents that J. Fonixx has to offer.
