Hello! My name is Jazzmine Farol. I love to sing, act, dance, write, model, play guitar, and piano, doodle, and paint. This isn't a huge deal, but I just wanted to post a couple songs on myspace. :O]
I just want to start off by saying that God has done so much good for me. I'll never be able to explain how much, but He is my everything. He never lets me down and I cannot even IMAGINE where I'd be if it wasn't for Him. I am so thankful and so blessed that He gave me the gift of music and if I'll ever be able to take it far, it is ALL thanks to Him. My wonderful, awesome God.
Well, really I've been singing for my whole life. My mom told me that I screamed so much when I was a baby, that she knew that I'd become a singer. :O] I sang before I could even talk! I've been taking voice lessons for almost three years! I've been playing guitar for two years, I've been acting for about 4 years, playing piano for about 8 years, and dancing for 7 years. I've also recently started modeling. It's a lot of fun! :O]
Performing is my PASSION.
I'm on my fourth book of songs that I've written, and I hardly ever show them to anyone. Actually posting them for the world to see is pretty new to me. So, I hope you like them anyway. <3
Well, I started performing in front of like a real audience when I was about 6 with a karaoke. Haha. And now that I've become better, I perform a lot more and even accompany myself with my guitar or my piano. Honestly, I think I perform somewhere at least once a week.
I am currently 16 years young. Even though I do all these things, I still have time for school. I have a 4.25 GPA and I'm hoping for it to stay that way. So I'm pretty busy with school work and all of this other stuff. But it's worth it. Seriously. When I'm performing, there's no other feeling that could compare to it.
God has given me a couple of amazing recording opportunities throughout my short life. I was able to record with Clarence Banta, a music producer back in 2006. And I was also given a music scholarship at the Los Angeles Music Academy where I was able to record two original songs at Firehouse Recording Studios. :0] Nowadays, I just play around with my Mac. [Which I'm not too savvy at yet haha]
At one point, I was in a band called "Straight Up!" but due to many schedule conflicts, we broke up. But I can definitely still call both of my old band members two of my really good friends. And I love them so much. :O]
I love my family and friends soooo much. They support me more than you'll ever understand. I will never be able to thank them enough, but I truly don't know where I'd be without them.
I've never been able to imagine myself as anything other than a singer. It's been my lifelong dream and I just hope singing is what God has in store for me. But whatever He has in mind is perfectly fine with me. :O]
If I don't make it in the singing career, I would love to be a writer. There are some books I read that literally take me away to a whole different world. And I'm also pretty good with advice. I want to be a writer because I want to reach out to people. If I can't do it through singing, then I can try doing it through books.
