About Me

Hi, I spent most of my childhood in Connecticut but currently I make my home in Georgia. I spend as much of my time as I can listening to music, writing, reading and enjoying time with family and friends. I had the pleasure of spending a few months out on Monhegan Island where I was able to work and enjoy hiking, writing, reading and learning about the island life in this quaint little fishing village. I hope to one day return if only for a day. I have four wonderful children, Gerry age 31, John age 29, Charyssa age 26, and DJ age 22. I have also been blessed with grandchildren... my "Daisy Girl" age 6, "Lily Starr" age 4 and her brother "Tiger", age 9, and now another granddaughter, my Tennessee Rose, born while I was in Tennesee in October 2009. My youngest became a daddy on 27th June, 2010, youngest grandchild, DJ JR is now made his debut. My oldest son got married in June 2009 to Ali, a beautiful young lady inside and out, I am very happy for him and for her. I enjoy many things in life, but closest to my heart is my family and friends and the ocean. I am very blessed and my life is full of love and laughter.
My hero, my mother, she was my best friendMy heroes are My mother... she was my mentor and best friend, my grandmother for being there when my mom no longer could be and my children for being the wonderful young adults that they are and being there for me now. AS A TEEN I HAD A VERY DEAR FRIEND WHO WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME,,,, I MISS HIM AND OFTEN THINK ABOUT HIS LIFE AND HOW HE IS DOING... KNOW THAT YOU'VE NEVER BEEN FORGOTTEN! MAYBE ONE DAY WE WILL MEET AGAIN! (after note, we have met again and he is doing well and I am very happy for him)
